Singapore; a happiest place in Asia

I just watched abc news (fr: Y! video) that Singapore, despite the rigid rules they are having, is the happiest place in Asia. Well, how could it be that just because of several randomly-asked people saying that they are happy, then the country they are representing is bestowed as a happiest country ..???

I think "happiness" is one of (if not the only) the most subjective factors which is difficult to measure in terms of quantity and even so quality. Just because Singapore is so successful in terms of keeping the stability inside the country, does not necessarily mean that all Singaporean (is it the term?? hehehe) are happy people.

As it is subjected to the "happiness" and "satisfaction", Indonesia is surprisingly on the rank of 29th in the World scale (source).
Hmmm..... really..??

Do you agree with that result, Indonesian??? ....
