'What the heck is that??' ... I bet there must be a question mark in your mind once you read the title of this blog ... *__* Hehehehehe....
To be honest though, what i'm going to expose in this blog is much easier if I explain it in Bahasa Indonesia. However, I do realize I have to use English so that all my friends regardless of the nationalities, will be able to read through my blog and understand it better ;)
I admit, it's always difficult to learn something new. Especially language. A friend of mine, a Dutch, whom happened to learn Indonesian language, commented that the difficulty in learning Bahasa Indonesia is in the affix [Indo: imbuhan]. Yess... we indeed have affix like -an, -kan, pe-an, ke-an [and many more which I can remember no more ;)], that can cause some complication for those who are not Bahasa-speaking person. An affix, is small but matters.
The power of affix can surprisingly affect the meaning of a word. I give you example of two Indonesia words; benar [means true/correct] and betul [also means true/correct]. When we put the affix of ke-an, then benar becomes kebenaran [means the truth], and betul becomes kebetulan [means accidentally/coincidence].
You see, without ke-an, those words are two different words that shares similar meanings. But when we put the affix ke-an, the meaning is suddenly changed into something totally different one from another.
Those affix are just characters yet it has quite a power to change something. From that explanation above, what i would like to say here is that, we as well can do the same. We too can make some changes if we want.
If you think you are big, then make a change. If you, in the contrary, think that you are just a small player in this huge entire universe, you have to believe that you as well still can make a change.
Just remember, the power of ke--an;
the power of small things...
the power of YOU...
