Happy Thanksgiving, everyone !!!
Finally the day of thanksgiving has come. It's the time to celebrate the blessing we've received from God throughout this year. When it comes to Thanksgiving, my memory always flashed back to 2001 when I celebrated my first western Thanksgiving dinner with my foster family in Nashville, Tennessee, with typical Thanksgiving dinner; a delicious roasted Turkey with its stuffing and gravy, mushed potatoes, accompanied with Pecan pie which all of those were hand-made by my foster parents; the Burgess family. It was so memorable...
Thanksgiving, is always celebrated every Thursday in the fourth week of November. Wikipedia stated that Thanksgiving "is a traditional North American holiday to give thanks, traditionally to God, for the things that one has at the conclusion of the harvest season."
If you live in the States, you will find that the feeling of togetherness as a family, as well as joy in the spirit of thankful are much more felt during Thanksgiving than Christmas.
To be so thankful about the what we've received, we should actually do it every day. Don't just wait until November. Count your blessing every single day, then you will find yourself lucky..and rich..and so blessed. I know it must be very hard to be thankful especially when we are in such a difficult situation. But I must agree with this saying, I can't recall the exact words, but it is more less like this; if you can be so thankful for small things; you are a thankful person.
